One of my favorite stores for children was This Little Piggy Wears Cotton. Really great clothes and unique goodies. The best pajamas EVER – for me and the girls – came from this now-closed chain. I first heard about TLPWC from my aunt who lived in Carpinteria, California at the time. (Hi Coco!) She and my mom gave me and Miss F matching pajamas with a bright geisha-ish fabric that I still adore (little Miss F has long since grown out of hers!).
When I found out they closed all the shops at the end of last year, I was heartbroken.
But wait, there’s hope!
D found a website called Piggy Pajamas that I have to assume is a previous owner of TLPWC? Quelle fantastique!
I have the “Santa Barbara Toile” P.J.s from TLPWC and they are the most comfortable and soft jammies. The girls have the same pattern, but with a long-sleeve pull-over top. I hope these Piggy Pajamas are just as good – from the looks of it, I think so!
Just look how totally cute (all images from Piggy Pajamas):
Even in fabric with cooking utensils!
How cute would these be while whipping up some great pancakes? 🙂
I can not wait to order some and must begin lobbying Piggy Pajamas to make the baby/toddler/children versions!
Go check them snout! Oink!
