Oh, happy accident!
I meant to make this recipe for a Vodka Gimlet for cocktail hour. It sounded really good. But for some reason, my brain never saw the word “lime” in the recipe. Never. Ever. When I printed the recipe, the photo came out yellow, so maybe that’s where I started thinking “lemon?” I even put lemons on my store list – limes just never crossed my mind. (I only realized that the original recipe called for lime juice when I went to link the recipe to this post!)
So I unknowingly made this drink with lemons not limes and decided that I had just made the best-tasting vodka-spiked lemonade ever! I’ll have to work on that lime gimlet later…

2. Shake well and strain into a glass.

Come to Santa Fe and bring your bartending skills with you. I am drinking our homemade cranberry vodka tonight, as my cocktail of choice. =)
This is going to be my summer pool drink! Refreshing and potent at the same time! 🙂
