It a widely known fact in my household that I CAN NOT make traditional biscuits. I’ve tried, oh goodness have I tried! I can, however, make excellent inedible hockey pucks… 😦

Thus, I have become quite fond of easy, cheesy biscuity things like these and these. And these Cheesy Garlic Biscuits:

I made these for the Misses and they thought they were delicious. D and I ate more than our fair share too so, clearly, there was consensus! These were so simple to make. I halved the recipe because I only had a cup of Bisquick and there were no issues.

Someday I’ll master classic biscuits, until then…

Cheesy Garlic Biscuits

Yield:  8 – 10 biscuits

2 cups Bisquick mix

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2/3 cup milk

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. chopped parsley

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Grease a rimmed cookie sheet and set aside.

2. Combine Bisquick, cheese, and milk in a medium bowl until moist.

3. Drop onto cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes, or until golden.

4. While the biscuits are baking, mix together the melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Pour over hot biscuits and serve.
